ISO 9001:2008 Certification, ITAR Registered

Stockwell Elastomerics, Inc. upgraded its quality management system from ISO 9002:1994 to ISO 9001:2000 in 2003 and is currently ISO 9001:2008 certified. We have been careful to develop a quality management system that is robust, yet simple enough to allow us to respond to fast-turn requirements.

Silicone rubber materials and related high performance elastomers are the core of our business. Our position in the market - often serving needs for fast-turn prototypes and initial production runs, requires that we carry a breadth of materials in many grades, densities, durometers and thicknesses.

To support our customers needs for both rapid deliveries and material lot tracability, Stockwell Elastomerics, Inc. places a significant investment in carrying an extensive inventory of materials traced back to our material supplier's production lot. Further, we regularly audit our inventory to eliminate materials and adhesives beyond shelf life, so performance is not compromised.

Equipment and production capacity is kept current and ready with our Preventive Maintenance system.

We use Internal Quality Audits to review traditional elements of our Quality Management System and related business processes in the context of Continual Improvement.

Our Quality Policy is simple - Quality, Service, Integrity and Continual Improvement - we are committed to living this in our work together.

ITAR Registered

Stockwell Elastomerics is also ITAR registered. All manufacturers, exporters, and brokers of defense articles, defense services or related activities are required by U.S. Government to be ITAR registered/compliant. ITAR is International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
