Custom Conductive Silicone Gaskets for EMI Shielding & Environmental Sealing
Stockwell Elastomerics manufactures custom die cut and molded EMI gaskets using conductive silicone elastomers and electrically conductive foams designed for shielding, grounding, and enclosure sealing in demanding OEM applications.
Engineered for performance. Built for reliability.
We fabricate gaskets from metal-filled conductive silicones silver-aluminum, silver-copper, nickel-graphite, and other particle systems. Silicone sponge, and sometimes foams, can be modified through coatings or lamination of dissimilar materials to be conductive as well.
Compression molding of conductive elastomers is recommended for more complex geometries.
Conductive elastomers provide both EMI shielding and environmental sealing in a single component — reducing assembly complexity and part count.
EMI gaskets are commonly used in:
Applications often require compliance with stringent military, aerospace, or commercial specifications. Our team supports material selection based on shielding effectiveness, compression requirements, grounding performance, and environmental exposure.
All EMI gasket fabrication is performed in-house using a variety of production methods including waterjet cutting, flash cutting, and compression molding. The production method employed for your project varies depending on the part. Flash cutting is used only for adhesive-backed parts. Waterjet cutting may be used early on in development for rapid prototyping but also may be suited for smaller runs or narrow part geometries. Die Cutting is an efficient production method for low-cost parts with simple geometries.
Compression molding of electrically conductive materials is one of Stockwell Elastomerics’ specialized capabilities.
Integrated engineering and manufacturing teams allow for fast response to design changes and urgent production requirements.
Selecting the right conductive elastomer and gasket design is essential to achieving both shielding effectiveness and long-term sealing performance.
