Custom Silicone & High-Performance Elastomer Sealing for Extreme Heat
Stockwell Elastomerics manufactures custom high temp gaskets from silicone, fluorosilicone, and specialty elastomers engineered for demanding OEM applications.
Designed for environments where material failure is not an option.
High temperature gasket materials are commonly selected for projects with continuous high heat exposure or where the part needs to withstand thermal cycling. These gaskets are rated for outdoor or UV exposure. There are fluorosilicone options available that can resist exposure to chemicals and solvents. High temperature gaskets can be flame-rated or rated for UL applications.
Silicone rubber is widely specified for its ability to remain flexible across a broad temperature range while resisting degradation from heat and ozone .
We manufacture high temp gaskets using a variety of production methods including waterjet cutting, precision die cutting, flash cutting, compression molding, and liquid injection molding. The production method employed for your project varies depending on the part. Liquid Injection Molding (LIM) can be suited for complex geometries, while flash cutting is used only for adhesive-backed parts. Waterjet cutting may be used early on in development for rapid prototyping but also may be suited for smaller runs or narrow part geometries.
All fabrication is performed in-house, allowing for fast response to urgent production timelines and design changes.
High temperature gaskets are frequently used in:
Material selection depends on maximum operating temperature, compression requirements, exposure conditions, and expected service life.
Selecting the right high temperature gasket material is critical to long-term performance and system reliability.
