ISO Certifications: AS9100 and ISO 9001, ITAR Registration

Stockwell Elastomerics’ quality management system is certified by NQA, a leading ISO global certification body, to the AS9100:2016 standard, which includes ISO 9001:2015, valid until July 31, 2027. This certification is applicable to:

Custom fabrication, die cutting and molding of silicone rubber and similar high-performance elastomers for the technology sector; including analytical instrumentation, medical diagnostic equipment, defense, and aerospace.

AS9100 and ISO 9001 are both quality management systems (QMS) with strict quality standards and regular audits by certified auditors such as NQA. AS9100 includes all the criteria of ISO 9001, with additional requirements related to the aerospace and defense industries.

Silicone rubber materials and related high performance elastomers are the core of Stockwell Elastomerics’ business. Its position in the market – often serving the critical needs of customers for fast-turn prototypes and initial production runs, requires a wide breadth of materials in many grades, densities, durometers and thicknesses.

To support customers’ needs for both rapid deliveries and material lot traceability, Stockwell Elastomerics places a significant investment in carrying an extensive inventory of materials traced back to material suppliers’ production lots. Further, there are regular inventory audits to eliminate materials and adhesives beyond shelf life, so performance is not compromised.

ITAR Registered

Stockwell Elastomerics is also an ITAR registered rubber components supplier to the U.S. defense industry. All manufacturers, exporters, and brokers of defense articles, defense services or related activities are required by the U.S. Government to be ITAR registered/compliant. ITAR is International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
