Quality and Responsiveness — Our Core Commitments

At Stockwell Elastomerics, every gasket, pad, or EMI shielding part represents decades of elastomer engineering expertise. We combine precision fabrication, certified materials, and responsive support to help design engineers move from prototype to production with confidence.

Corporate Philosophy on Service

Stockwell Elastomerics appreciates that there may be a time crunch when placing an order, and is committed to working with customers to develop practical solutions to meet gasketing and design requirements – often when the gasket is the last component specified. Stockwell Elastomerics leverages technology to facilitate rapid response – but recognizes the value of good conversations with buyers and engineers to ensure needs are met. With on-site customer service, applications engineering support and production, Stockwell Elastomerics is ready to assist customers.

Converter Friendly

Stockwell Elastomerics actively supports gasket converters by supplying high-performance materials tailored to their production needs. While our technical team primarily assists OEM customers, they are available to provide application insight and material guidance when unique situations arise.

What is Typical Lead Time on Inventory from Suppliers?

Stockwell Elastomerics maintains a stable and reliable material supply position supported by strategic raw material inventory levels. This approach enables fast response times and consistent service for our customers across prototype and production requirements. We remain committed to delivering responsive lead times and dependable fulfillment aligned with customer program needs.

To support continued demand and growth, Stockwell Elastomerics has made ongoing investments in skilled personnel and manufacturing equipment, expanding internal capacity and reinforcing our ability to support both rapid prototyping and scaled production.

Summarized below is our current lead time position with key suppliers:

  • Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR): 8-10 weeks – Stockwell Elastomerics currently has strong inventory positions on many grades for immediate availability.
  • Rogers BISCO® Silicones: 4-10 weeks (grade contingent) Many common grades are in stock.
  • Rogers PORON® Urethane Foams: 2 weeks – Many common grades are in stock.
  • Saint-Gobain NORSEAL® Silicones: 6 weeks – Many common grades are in stock.
  • Specialty Silicone Products: 4-10 weeks (grade contingent) Your Customer Service Representative can update on any specific grade.
  • 3M Pressure Sensitive Adhesives / Other Pressure Sensitive: 4-8 weeks – Stockwell Elastomerics currently has strong inventory positions on many grades for immediate availability.

Typical Lead Time by Manufacturing Process

The following lead times reflect typical production timelines by manufacturing process as of January 2026. Because many Stockwell Elastomerics products are custom-fabricated to exact specifications, lead times are driven by process complexity, tooling requirements, material availability, and overall production demand. Where applicable, expedited timelines may be achievable for lower-hour jobs or when material is already in stock. These guidelines are intended to support planning and scheduling; our team will confirm process-specific timing during order review.

What are Minimum Order Quantities?

At Stockwell Elastomerics, we structure orders around minimum order values (MOV) rather than minimum quantities. Because many of our products are engineered-to-order and customized to specific applications, this approach provides greater flexibility for customers while ensuring efficient production, material utilization, and quality standards. The minimum order value varies by product type and manufacturing complexity, as outlined below.
