Many different applications over a wide breadth of industries had utilized these now-obsolete materials for components. Applications included military, aerospace, and various ruggedized portable electronic devices such as scanners, readers, phones, computers, radios, GPS, wireless equipment and testing equipment. These materials had uses ranging from EMI gaskets to connector gaskets and grounding pads. Trying to find suitable equivalent materials can be a daunting task. Stockwell Elastomerics has demonstrated expertise and experience when it comes to EMI gasketing material, and we can help when selecting a suitable replacement material.

Stockwell Elastomerics carries several materials that can serve as replacements for these Gore materials:

  • GS2100SNE-540-UL94V0 is a great alternative for GS2100. SNE-540-UL94V0 has a durometer similar to GS2100, and, as the name suggests, a UL 94V-0 flame rating.
  • GS5200SNE-560-UL94V0 is a great alternative for GS5200. SNE-560-UL94V0 has a durometer similar to GS5200 and UL 94V-0 flame rating.

However, choosing a replacement material is not always as straightforward as finding the same product with a different name.
