Flame-Retardant Silicone Foam for Sealing & Cushioning
Stockwell Elastomerics fabricates custom silicone foam gaskets, pads, and seals designed to perform in extreme temperatures and harsh environments.
Engineered for durability. Manufactured for consistency.
Silicone foam is commonly specified when applications require soft materials with strong compression set rebound. Silicone foam is UV and Ozone resistant and provides a wide operating temperature range. These materials are flame retardant and offer UL 94 rated options.
Its closed-cell structure helps prevent water absorption while maintaining flexibility and long-term sealing performance.
We manufacture silicone foam components using a variety of production methods including waterjet cutting, precision die cutting, flash cutting, and slitting. The production method employed for your project varies depending on the part. Waterjet cutting may be used early on in development for rapid prototyping but also may be suited for smaller runs or narrow part geometries. Flash cutting is used only for adhesive-backed parts.
Die cutting of silicone foam and other high-performance elastomers is part of our core in-house capabilities.
All fabrication is performed at our U.S.-based facility, enabling fast response and consistent quality.
Silicone foam is frequently used in:
Applications often require dependable sealing under temperature cycling, outdoor exposure, or flame performance requirements.
Proper material selection and compression design are critical to long-term sealing success.
